the steamroller blues

alright, it's sunday now. we won't apologize for yesterday's post. it was necessary, at the time. today we are feeling more of the same -- that is, more of the same feeling of going round and round, endlessly looping with no goal in sight. seems we've got the "why are we here" blues, yet again. if only we could play guitar just a little bit better, this could be a top 40 hit.

perhaps the greatest comfort to me when i'm writing that song is knowing that there are others out there... remarkably few when compared to the whole, but don't the greatest, most treasured elements of life exist as rarities rather than in abundance?

today i know no meaning, and work professionally and interpersonally (on many disparate levels) with only artificial, transient goals. at what point will that cease to be sufficient motivation, and what will i be forced to do?
