dining with pirates, not fishes

we are here in SF, with Jnani Chapman, exploring tiny brave boats (one,
Sanctuary, a sea-going yawl -- double-masted, like a ketch, but different) docked in Sausalito, yoga alongside people facing cancer, healing bedsite massage in the ICU of USCF Mt Zion Hospital, and now, cooking for pirates.

tonight we dine on a floating barge with the Sausalito Cruisers Club, the local, blue-collar, beer-drinking alternative to the yachting set. we will help Jnani prepare a hippie dinner for them and are looking forward to making detailed observations about the regional culture of wind-whipped and sea-ambitious folk tucking into baked potatoes and sauteed red cabbage...
