seeing stars

cats are high on nip
but it's we that can't see straight
something's in our eyes
sunlight starlight
blinding and warming
at once

and now the cats are wrestling
and papers fly off the desk
as a gust blows through here
this stellar wind
it's hard to see with
the stars that are caught
in our eyes today
