spring unravels

it started with la traviata and moved into the usual level of family drama -- an excellent way to welcome spring. we made our way to NYC via amtrack and took LIRR to our ultimate destination. it's worth it to travel on rails; less stress and a schedule to keep to means we have to leave on time to head home. a night tonight with suzanne actually brought easter sentiment home to us, a revelation after a day of cotton candy and plastic eggs full of money. we're home now. it's quiet. that's a lot to report for the moment.
